Oberhofer - Time Capsules II

I’ve been listening to Oberhofer but I just heard them again during the live streamcast of Coachella on YouTube (watch it here). And they are so much fun! By way of Tacoma, Brooklyn-based Brad Oberhofer released his debut album “Time Capsules” in March. It’s definitely worth checking out. Here are a couple of songs from it:

This should be great: Sharon Van Etten & The War on Drugs at the @indysf

I can’t wait for this show: Sharon Van Etten and The War on Drugs at the Independent on Wednesday of this week. I loved last year’s album from The War on Drugs and Sharon Van Etten’s new record “Tramp” has been on heavy rotation here. This show is definitely a show to look forward to. Here is some music from both bands:

Indie Snob - Someone who thinks a band is automatically "bad" or "uncool" as soon as they receive the tiniest bit of success. They will ignore that "successful" band and then rush to Pitchfork or some other snobby music site to find some obscure band to replace them. (From Urban Dictionary)

Well, I like all kinds of music but indie music is my favorite. Call me a snob.
